ENVIRONMENTAL STRATEGIES FOR BUSINESS PROFITABILITY COURSE
MAIN OBJECTIVE:
GUIDE AND ADVISE COMPANIES TOWARDS A SUSTAINABLE BUSINESS MODEL AND LOW CARBON EMISSIONS
JOINING SCIENCE, ECONOMY AND EDUCATION TO GO STRONGER
The human being faces the most important challenge in its recent history, since three crises have coincided at the same time in time: the health crisis of COVID-19, the economic crisis and the climate crisis. The fight against the 3 crises has highlighted the urgent need to maintain healthy ecosystems and to walk together towards the decarbonization of the economy, if we also want to overcome the health and economic crises.

This crisis has shown the vulnerability of a good part of the Spanish economy. Due to these circumstances, the European Union has launched the most ambitious recovery plan in history, through which sustainable business models that implement measures against climate change will be the most beneficial. Spanish companies have the opportunity to take advantage of this change in model, increasing their added value and competitiveness.

Therefore, companies must lead a change towards a sustainable economic model where socio-environmental aspects are taken into account, since it will be these that will affect the viability of competitiveness of their businesses in the medium and long term.

In this course, attendees will have the opportunity to learn about opportunities in the field of sustainability from the hand of great experts. Both the benefits and the risks of a new economic framework closely linked to the decarbonization of all economic sectors will be analyzed in order to achieve the objectives of the European Union in line with the Paris Agreement on Climate Change. And that will lay the foundations for Europe in 2030.
